This is the same ribbed shape as the Welz sugar shaker posted here recently, except that it has a funnel neck on top. Same cuboid shape with each concave side having a ribbed medallion or flower. Tiny pedestal base. Once again I cannot date this.....any help would be appreciated.
The spatter is white, pale blue, red and black (amethyst), on clear glass. The spatter is tiny, lumpy and disguises the ribbing almost completely. This vase has been in the house three hours and has visited five rooms and the garden and still my photos are rubbish!!!
Height 9 cm./3.75 inches Each side 7cm./2.75 inches
I know what you mean,Peggy. You can see all the details and nuance but your camera isn't enough.,so you go upstairs and downstairs looking for the best place...
Nevertheless i can see how beautiful the vase is!
Thank you Ivonne, for your comment on the vase itself and for your understanding. I don't think it's the fault of the camera!
