I found this chair at a thrift store for $39.00. The color in the photo is true to the actual color. It doesn't look to have ever been painted. The spindles are attached to the seat in a peg manner. The curved back is one piece of wood and the center back slat has a cut-out in the shape of an elongated teardrop. The legs may have had feat on them or may have an altered length. I am not sure. The chair has a beautiful patina.

I appreciate any advice or information anyone might have in helping me identify the style and era. Thanks so much. Barbara Gunter.
