This is one of my prints of Daybreak by Maxfield Parrish. This is the picture that got me started on Parrish! Also, I wanted to let everyone know about an exhibition of some of Parrish's original works and other items being held at the Fenimore Art Museum in Cooperstown, NY. Here's a link: http://www.fenimoreartmuseum.org/parrish
If you live near here or are planning on visiting this summer and like Parrish's work even a little, you should try to get to this show. It's very rare that you get to see Parrish's original work in person! I have nothing whatsoever to do with the museum or the group that is sponsoring the show, I just love Parrish and want to give everyone an opportunity to see this stuff, it's amazing. You won't be disappointed!
Wonderful print..love it!...:-)
These prints are so beautiful and fragile. I love Parrish's work Upstate :)...I have one of these too it's 33"x 22" in the frame. It's tucked away for safe keeping at the moment. Limited wall space. I need to do some rearranging. Here's the link to my post.

i grew up w/ Parrish all around me - very close to cornish, where i had one friend w/ huge original murals by parrish in their guest houses - forming the entire wall between two units on each side. it was the big sign he created for the Dingleton Hill Tea House - a japanese-style tea house w/ very modern concepts. supposedly, all of the furniture could be flipped under in order to create one large, unobstructed room for quiet contemplation - with wall-to-wall windows to look at the beautiful woods and views from this really special hill where parrish himself lived throughout pretty much all of his adult life.
my first Parrish was this one. i gave it to my sweet cousin and his partner when they tied the knot.

Mike I know what you mean about wall space, I have 19 Parrish prints hanging now, and more tucked away. The wife love them too, but complains that there's no space for family pics! ho2, that must have been awesome with all that beauty around you. I'll have to research that mural. The color is amazing on the one you linked! I have a copy of that, but nowhere near as bright! Thanks for the great comments, and all the loves everyone!
beautiful!!
Thanks Sean
