This is a 20" doll, kid body. Can anyone tell me who might have made her? Anything about her?
Head arms legs are bisque ot porcelain. Human hair wig.
I cant read the markings on the back of the head.
Stryofoam insert in head.
The picture is not clear .Do you have hairnet over face ? Post a photo of marking on back of neck and also the body . I can help if you take new photo of face and the things I need to see . Thanks
If wig comes off and remove it ok . The Styrofoam would be covering the hole in top of head so it was either replaced with wig . Antique dolls never had Styrofoam but used cork ,plaster or hard cloth material to cover opening which is there so they could insert eyes and teeth in dolls .
Im unsure what it is under the wig. I assumed stryfoam? I will post better pics soon
I have found out a little more info. This doll was in a doll hospital. The lady passed away, leaving this doll and many items in a trunk. Im assuming she is a repro doll maybe from the 1970's but I dont know. I will add more pics soon.
