Any information would be greatly appreciated. To include cleaning and repair. Have been sitting on my grandmother's shelf for years, I believe, unseen till now.

Made of celluloid that easily cracks . Not sure what part you want to clean ? But by looks of clothes if you remove them they may fall apart hand washing . You can wipe face and arms . Probably Japan made 1940's . In the 1940s the USA outlawed the use of celluloid for dolls, as the material can be flammable if exposed to high heat or open flame, however, other countries continued to use the material long after the 1940s. Also, the celluloid material deteriorates when exposed to moisture.
