Bought this print about 6 years ago at an antique shop. From what I have figured out is that it's a print of the Reims Cathedral but the spelling is different Rhemis vs. Reims. Seems to be in the original frame and has a watermark that I cannot figure out what it is.

      Rheims is the French spelling

No, no, Aghcollect, right French spelling is indeed REIMS!

wiki - Reims (/?ri?mz/; also spelt Rheims; French:)

After verification, Rheims was the archaic name of the town (as Lutèce for Paris).
But, the print doesn't seem archaic, and... I am French ;-)

I just got this exact same print from my daughter, it belonged to her husband's grandmother. I don't know anything about it either but looks to be from the 1920s maybe. Mine has more of a greenish tint instead of blue in the costumes. Would love to know more about it.

My friend also owns this etching and I believe that it is by James Alphege Brewer. If you have been able to find out any additional info about it please let us know! We would love to learn more about the etching as well.

I showed my copy of this just a couple weeks ago, and a fellow member commented offering useful information to its possible history. Yours is interesting for its frame, if nothing else?! :-)
