This vase came in a box from Aderia (or Adelia) Glass, one of the members of the Ishizuka Group of companies.
To me, it looks very much like glass from Tsugaru Vidro, also one of the Ishizuka companies.

It sure looks Japanese. The shape, the colour, the trailing, the red handles all shout Japan to me.
BUT - it has Italy and the tricolore on a sticker on the base!

These days some Japanese companies do outsource glass to Lithuania, Poland, Turkey and others, but I am not aware of Aderia doing so, and Tsugaru Vidro certainly do not.
Maybe it was made in Italy to Japanese taste? Maybe the sticker is an export one for it to go to Italy? I'll probably never know, but for now I'm OK keeping it as Japanese glass.

    Height 22cm

    UPDATE
The clever Vetraio has made me think outside my little box and look again.
I believe he is right - the Italy sticker has been added only recently and is nothing to do with the vase except the last owner put it there!
    Thanks Vet.

While collecting glass you constantly come up against mysteries, misunderstanding,
confusing data etc.And everything makes us be detectives. The best side of our hobby!
The vase itself is excellent,no matter who made it !
