    Trying to figure out what this is. Looks like a coin print in a 1" square piece of silver. Found it in a bunch of old coins that were put away a long time ago. Any help in identifying this is appreciated. Thanks.

      this shape is called a "Klippe" and were usually presentation types. this one could be a medal and it also looks cast which is not good.

      With investment/wax casting & centrifugal casting methods, the signs of casting are virtually unable to detect. Scary! We have moved into that age & even harder to detect, if possible at all.
