Kurata small scenic vase - The Meadow

You may recognise the shape of this Kurata vase as it is very similar to my vase posted yesterday. They come from the same era, early 1980s.

This vase is just serene, like a flowered meadow in hazy summer light (obviously not Australia - we don't do hazy summers - it's usually intense white light!).

The combination of colours at the base of this light blue vase works so well, and the ground has been liberally sprinkled with silver fleck and then sandblasted.

Just pretty.
