It was a family gift from China in the mid 1910s. A pair of vases, ceramics, hand painted, shown on the first pic. On the bottom marks can be seen: second pic. Any help in the identification of this family mystery would be appreciated.
There are a number of Asian art experts on here, they may drop a comment on this thread, be interesting to hear their opinions.
I have posted an item here that appears to be of the same artist. I know nothing about it other than it has been in my family for 3 generations.
