    My grandfathers brother ordered this Conn Trombone from the factory in 1911.I have all the correspondence between him and the company that came with purchasing this once beautiful instrument.I will find out the best way to polish and fix a few dents and display it as a work of art.

      Whatever you do don't get it refinished, it never comes out quite right. Looks like it had a second tuning slide. The one on it is longer so perhaps to hit perhaps to hit a low E.

      Fort,I think you are right.It plays,not very well.I want to hang it on a wall as art when I get it cleaned a bit.
