1900's Trunk made in WV Ton of rivets???????

Canvas covered trunk, with pigskin edges and decorative pieces. A ton of what appear to be copper or brass rivets. Nice inside with envelope on top and a tray. Tray sits way down in the trunk, but doesn't appear to be original. Lock is an eagle lock co., haven't found the number, but its unusual looking, as is the trunk.
Blue tag says all locks clambsbolts hingesrollers and tray hangersare GUARANTEED to be put on with solid rivets.
The other tag saya The only trunk maker in WV, sample trunks and repairing, specialty. 1146main st, wheeling wv.
Thought it was an unusual looking trunk
