This is a mystery chess set. Unknown origin. Seeking information and value.
The first set without the chess board is the one I own. The next with the copper chess board s an alternate image I found for reference. The third came up doing a search for Cycladic chess sets. You can see the variation in styles between these sets.
There was a similar set on eBay which the owner thought was made somewhere in Greece in the early 70s. However, I am not sure if the sets are completely related, or if they are, this one appears earlier. It is all brass, whereas the later sets are mixed brass and copper (I presume to save money on mfg costs). I expect this one to be an earlier vintage however am struggling to gain information.
Keywords/Phrases:

Isle of Euboea Chess
Any useful and concrete information would be appreciated.
I just noticed that the picture on the right, set on the marble board, the inscription on the rook says "Hand Made Greece". Maybe that will help.
It seems the style is certainly Cycladic. Now I am trying to determine origin and vintage.

I also just realized, the set I have has a round foot print like the handmade set. The other set, suspected to be a production set by possibly Monopoulos in Greece, has square bases. However, this is all speculation on my part. They both could be hand made, however, seeing the set with the square feet on a board that is of Monopoulos style leads me to believe the latter, square foot, is a production / knock off set. I suspect mine is the real thing, hand made on or near the Isle of Keros (Isle of Euboea).
