    Lucky me saved these two tankard shape pitchers from the op shop yesterday. Apparently they had been there for some time and they looked like it too! They have a glass look about them but are simple and beautiful ceramic. They are in perfect (old) condition except one has 3 tiny chips around the rim, they stand around 21.5 cms high. The only other colour introduced is black/purple on rim and handles. They are stamped Crownford, F&Sons Burslem England, with the number 6069 9.
    I hope you like them.

      F & Sons is "Ford & Sons" - I couldn't find your mark to date it but I think I found a blue and white in the same shape.

      Yes, thank you aghcollect for the information and luv, and I agree they are very similar to the link pitcher shape. I have searched too, but not been able to pinpoint the date made either. You are always very helpful. :)
