This gorgeous floral silk with silk lining kimono is totally hand stitched. The sleeve pockets were useful to carry fans and small personable items by the wearer. It would easily be 70 years old or even older. A family member borrowed it some time ago and I had to have it dry cleaned unfortunately it was never quite the same, this silk is so fragile. The colours are still very vivid and gorgeous though. Hope you like it.

Hi racer4four, was that eclectic or eccentric ? LOL ... Some were brought back from Japan by my father during WW2 RAAF service and some I have seen for sale and wanted to save. I seem to have always been drawn to Asian especially beautiful Japanese items .. the proverbial magpie :) X Thanks for the luv too.
