This is an old oil ring wick lamp I bought at an estate sale. There are no chips or cracks and is in great condition. Everything works and it could probably be used but I'm to afraid to try it. I feel really lucky to have it.

Don't be affraid, i have few here, in winter, when we have black out, we use it all the time they are safe, no worry there.

I think these are called Gone with the wind Lamps? it would be worth a fortune check them out on ebay, well done
They are worth having. Same as we always keep gas rings & bar b queues as you never know when they will come in handy.
