Vincent and I gathered together our retro robots today and had some fun.
Originals are expensive and hard to find so these are all reproductions.
From China of course, boxes appropriately aged, all bought in the last few years.
Please enjoy our family snapshot.
We have photos of them at work in our next post.
In memory of my friend Teddy ... Who had an original Robbie Robot ...
OMGosh ... sorry ... saw your post and made me think of my friend ...
Why be sorry Eye? I'm happy our post made you think of your friend.......
Ok ... Here is a lesson learned ... If your buddy decides to show you the vintage toy collection he always talked about ... and he is trying to give you one of the multiples that he has .... accept the offer, because he is excited to share his passion ... and you probably will only get one chance at the offer ... RIP Teddy ... I should have taken the duplicate Green Hornet slot car, although I wish we were out golfing today.
I remember having some as a child... Thanks for bringing back memories.
these are very cool!!
A delightful set of retro robots.

Oh lovely Karen. I still have an SY tin robot from the late 1960s. Not worth a great deal, it's been played to death and doesn't spark anymore, but it still winds up and moves:) I think they're great fun. I love Robby from Lost in Space., I bet an original of that would cost a pretty penny
Aren't they great Fran? Simple pleasures. Thanks.
I love them Karen, no matter they're a bunch of newbies ;)
Ta muchly Austro!
Asimov was cool. Thanks Thomas.
Loveeeee!
Happy you love them Virginia.. Thanks!
