    Hello, All,
    I've missed posting, but haven't had a chance to get out in a long while.
    I purchased this yesterday. It's very striking,......the border is dazzling.
    I don't know much about porcelain marks and didn't have any luck identifying this mark after a lot of looking. I was hoping that it would ring a bell with someone.
    The platter is about 13" inches long,
    I wish everyone well and hope to be posting more, soon!

      I thought it was a sceptre mark, but there are so many of them out there, I wasn't sure which sceptre mark it was. Thank You for the help!

      Also, what do you suppose the gold dot means under the sceptre? With the '55', could that be a way of dating the piece? Do you think it might be an older piece?

      it is a way of the dating the piece that is true. it could be older , I don't know much , ill guess , im thinking 1900-1929? I could be wrong.
