This vase was part of a lot I recently purchased. It's a vintage, circa 1950's, Alfredo Barbini piece in a striking shade of Chinese orange with a pattern of internal bubbles (bullicante) and gold flecks throughout. It's a nice size measuring 9 1/2" h x 4" w and weighs 2 lbs. As always, thanks for looking.
Thanks for the quick love Craig.
Love the orange. Not easy to find nice examples, and this certainly is.
Thanks Craig. It looks even better in person... the gold adds so much depth which the photos don't convey. It came with a matching dish - equally as nice - that I'll be posting in a day or so.
If I have a chance I will post a couple more of the Italian pieces I have. I have sold a bunch, but kept a few nice ones. :-)
I look forward to seeing them. Unfortunately, I had no room for this one and it fell into the sold category too.
I had a handy picture.
