This is a double sided porcelain sign in relatively good shape. Some dings but overall not bad. I'm guessing it is late Forty's or early Fifties in age. What is your estimate of value for resale ?

SOCONY WAS STANDARD OIL OF NEW YORK,ONE OF THE BABY STANDARDS.
if its an oil company theres a good chance standard owned it they were a monopoly
most baby standards started after 1911.I dont think there are any left.but you are right, they all started as standard oil.Ilike the sign.
I have one of these signs i found how much are the worth?????
Its all about condition. In the condition of the one in the pic around $700-$900. But if its i in rough shape the price would be much less. You should post a pic
