    The mystery mark pinched on my previous post of the monkeys brooch is too on both lizards, with this time a 925 for silver purity!

    As you can see, high quality work, in solid heavy silver.

    End of victorian era, these animal brooches were qualified as Novelty.

    Biggest is 2.3/4"
    Smallest is 2.1/4"

    As the big one's pastes were a little dull, I enhanced them with green Sharpie...
    Now I have a demantoid beast ;-)

    I'm sure someone (even me!) will finaly find out who is this mysterious maker!
