When I first found this vase and read the description (I think it was 1950's Italian!) I did note the size, but was still shocked by how big it was in person - 16" tall! This is quite an imposing vase! It is crystal clear, and decorated in gilt enamel work in the Rococo style. It is actually interesting to note that the decoration on the lip of the vase is very similar to that on bohemianglassandmore's JIP that was also posted on CW this week. It has a ground pontil, and is signed, but a bit hard to read - I think it is P1336 (not sure on the 3) with a 4. beneath, which is typical of Harrach's numbering system.
