Hello Everybody. While out "thrifting", ran across a couple Action Figures....not G I Joes or Johnny West series, but for the humor and the $1.00 price tag, these little fellers came home.
For those is the US, you know who these shady characters are. For those around the world, let me introduce you the Cheech & Chong. Don't know exactly what to say.....except hope you all get a chuckle out of these guys.
Kerry
These guys are great:)
Thanks Trey, seen them on a back table and had to have...lol
All you need now is the Love Machine:)
LOL.....Dazed and confused..... cruising the road
these are some very very cool dudes :)
LOL, Thanks Sean, ole buddy.....Captain Quaalude to the rescue.... :+)
Oh yeah!! Way cool!
Ouaaarfff! Unexpected post, Kerry! Too much funny, I'll be laughing all rest of the day :-D
What a great find for a buck! Those would be great to display! :)
Coool Man!
"Hey man, how's my driving?"
"I think we're parked, man."
My daddy's talkin' to me,
Try to tell me how to live,
But I don't listen to him,
My head is like a sieve.
Ok, so what I should have added, to the above post is: The dolls are wearing the outfits that Cheech and Chong wore, when they played in the "Battle of the Bands" at the end of the movie "Up in Smoke". The above lyrics are from the song they sang, which ended up winning them the Battle of the Bands.
Very cool Kerry and glad your starting to collect dolls <wink> xo
Am I the only one that misses the hemostats off to the right side?
LoL aghcollect:)
I remember reading some decades ago, that their movies were the highest (pun intended) profit makers per production cost. Would love to watch some again. Are they censored in the "land of the free" now? They were hilarious! I remember one of them was illegally entrapped in a sting operation.
Remember the scene in "Up in Smoke" where they went down to Tijuana to pick up a van from the upholstery shop. Tijuana was actually in San Diego. A scene in the movie shows a dog walking up to them on the street, not planned but they liked the dog, so they kept the scene. They were low budget flicks, the studio wasn't in to spending a lot of money. The song "Lowrider" was composed in a studio apartment by the artist, it took 2 days, and it's iconic. Love the Cheech & Chong. I liked their 2nd movie "Next Movie" as much as Up in Smoke. Doper flicks.
I loved the scene where the f-k'd up chic snorts up the Draino! Those were really funny movies! Of course I wasn't in that culture, but still thought they were hilarious! "May I see your license? Isn't it back there on the bumper?" "What's your name? Ugh, - isn't there on the license?". We would be laughing so much that we would miss half the lines! LMFAO even now! A friend keeps putting hash brownies in my freezer & I might have to take a bite & see if I can locate one of their movies. Just for research reasons of course! Anymore freezer deposits & I'm going to have to start giving food away! LMFAO!!

Thanks Roy. Good memories & kind of cheered up my day a bit. Friend & wife of my most trusted friend died this morning. I had to work in the morning & so didn't have time to fry chicken or make potato salad for the morning(?), so took some hash brownies. Made things more mellow & there was no left over food later. The friend who actually owned the brownies said it was OK since he knew them too. Not a good week. I've lost 3 friends.
Cool score, dang these are cool. For sure good memories...
