I couldn't fit all the photos in one post so here are the finished product and reassembly photos. They did a magnificent job on the old chest .i can't believe it's the same chest.

I have one like it was my Grandmothers hope chest mine dates 1920's . I love it sentimental value and it keeps stored items well . I never thought to refinish it . What did it look like before restored Trey ?
oh no name on mine unless on bottom and to heavy to look now :-)
It was very Weatherd Manikin from sitting in front of the windows in my grandparents farmhouse that had no central heat and air. The photos are on the other post the lid was grey and crackled and the sides were really dark.
