Rogers Majestic console radio

A friend of mine brought me this radio and said a friend of his was cleaning out a relatives house and this had to go to the dump. Well my friend brought it home , this was about 20 years ago. He brought me the radio to replace the capacitors and get it up and running.. Well that was taken care of , so this spring he brought me the cabinet to do.
I just had to redo the top as the sides were in good condition. After cleaning the cabinet and using trade secret on it , it came up very nice.. the power supply for the radio sits under the chassis in the cabinet and weighs about 40 pounds. I installed a phone jack and an adaptor so he can play his MP3 through it.. It now has a new life for the next 80 years. It is a Canadian 1936 Rogers Majestic model.
