Hello Fellow Collectors. I have a few Donald Duck watches, here and there, and thought I'd share this one today.
This is the first "Authorized" by Disney Donald pocket watch, produced by Ingersoll/Waterbury, circa 1939 there were 2 variants of these...this one with Donald in dark blue and sticker on the back & a variant with Donald dressed in a light blue without the sticker.

Oh Okay.... it's the back cover of the 1939 Ingersoll Donald, the first Donald watches were introduced and didn't fair as well as expected. When the first PW's by Ingersoll were produced, The powers that be, decided to add theMickey on back to promote sales
Ha ... I was wondering why the Mickey and also if the numbers wore off the dial
Eye4, another trivia point to consider... The 1939 Mickey Ingersoll had a similar depiction on back cover, but wasn't the same, most people think they were, but they are different
