I saw this card table at a garage sale tucked away in a corner. I asked the seller if he was getting rid of it and he said he was. He charged me two dollars for it! It looks like it may have some minor water damage on the legs - only because the claw feet look a little rusty and one foot is a little loose. It was probably stored in the basement. Other than that, it is in excellent condition. Any idea on the make, model or age of this item. The picture of the chalk 140 is on the bottom side of the table. That is the only marking I could find. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am moving and would like to know if this is a "keeper" or not. Thank you
Nice table. Not an antique-- I would think it dates to the late 20th century. A photo of the entire underside with attachment should confirm.
Certainly worth more than the $2 price.

Thanks scottvez!! I will post an underside picture - with the table opened up.
I also found the number 809 on it between where the table folds down.
2 buck table is always a bargain, but the condition of this...bargain isn't correct term......Steal would be closer to being correct.....Very nice find,,, Congrats :-)
Thanks for the always nice comment kerry10456!! I appreciate it. It is a great little table. I think the guy just wanted to get rid of it. He just told me I could have it $2 - I just asked him the price!! This piece will go with me on my move - because it is small enough to fit just about anywhere.
Thank you everyone for the loves :)

This is definitely an Antique Vintage Imperial Mahogany game table, Federal Mid Century. Last sale I saw was for $650. I've also seen them for sale as high as $3600. My mother has antiques she is giving me that she had before I was born, that were handed down to her. This is spitting image of the one I just received. Nice find for $2.
Wow!! Thank you for the info debross22. I had no idea! I guess it was a nice find for $2.00!!
The underside and attachment shows that your table is definitely mid 20th century AT THE EARLIEST.
Not an antique but still a useful and desirable table and solid wood which will last.
Great deal at $2.

Thanks scottvez! No matter what, I love the look of the table and, like you said, for $2 it was a great deal!! I almost sold it at my tag sale last weekend, but decided not to last minute - but I would have asked $5 for it!!
