Victorian Silver Sewing Tape Measure Filigree Hallmarked 1900 William Oliver

I thought you'd like to see something I recently acquired. A small Victorian tape measure. Note the unusual pierced detail around the sides. Very attractive little piece. - Enjoy !

The piece is fully hallmarked for Birmingham (anchor), Lion (sterling silver) and lower case "a" for 1900. The makers mark is W.O. in capital letters, with a serif font. I have attributed this to William Oliver of Birmingham, who was active around the late Victorian period. The tape is no longer present, but inside you can clearly see the end of the original purple silk tape.

I presume is was originally part of a set, I'd love to have seen that.
