This has been in my home as long as I can remember. I played with it as a child. I am trying to get some information about it but I have had no luck. I would like to know when it was made where it was made and the value. It is marked COLBY BRO & CO
It looks like an old clothes washer wringer to me.

Hi you all: you have the whole darn washing machine. Tells you so in the photos. Now how does it work?? I know: Find a wash tub, put the wood ringer in the tub so the handle hangs over the side of the tub. Now put the clothes in the tub and then the water over the clothes but not to the bottom of the board on the bottom of the wringer. If you do you will have too much water for the wringer to work properly. Now you can start to wash. You put the wet clothes through the wringer and work it back and forth moving the fabric forward as you go along.
When you come to the end you do it all over again.
