Restored Antique Hat Trunk

I love working on these little guys. It's a nice break from working on a full size trunk and, in this case (a-hum), it came with some really cool hardware. Like the solid brass lock. And the cast draw bolts. I sanded the slats with steel wool for that ultra smooth feel and recovered it in what was close in color to the original duck that was peeling off when I found it. Leather binding added and you've got a nice little side-table, or, of course, a fabulous case for your favorite hats!
