Gas Pump Hunting puts us in the path of a lot of other cool old stuff and this old Truck could not be easily overlooked or dismissed. The high price of scrap steel a couple of years ago has pretty much eliminated most of these beautiful old relics from the roadside vistas of the West so it's rare to find them any more. This old beauty still stands proudly on a farm in Idaho where the scrapers seemed to have passed it by for now. I love this old truck!
These old cars and trucks that your posting ... have some amazing stories to tell !!! these are great and thankyou for sharing these ... but I also think as well that we are educating the new generation as well.
Fully agree. The whole point of the Museum at Lakeside Storage is for me to be able to teach my grandkids about the cool stuff from the olden days and teach respect in the process.
Can't believe someone hasn't stripped that grill off of it in the middle of the night! Highly valued right there.
It's just a pick up truck. I think an International? Maybe 3/4 ton?
Exactly! It gives us a little hope when we see cool old stuff that hasn't been stripped by thieves.
Cool picture i like it.
One cool old truck.....love your pics and finds Rattletrap!
I love these old rusty trucks standing guard over the hillocks of southern Oklahoma or Utah or wherever. My buddy's grandma sold me a junk, scrap 1933 Chev truck that set out in the field looking so cool and rustic. I gave it back to her grandson to keep out in the field to keep looking so cool and rustic. I will post a pic next time I go visit the ranch.

Since the time that I posted the pix on CW, I actually returned to the old farm and purchased the 37 Dodge truck and it is now located in the Collection at Lakeside Storage Museum
Rattletrap, I'm about to post something that drives both of us crazy. Check it out in a few mins.
