The vase is very heavy. It is about 12inches high, and has no visible markings.
The pattern is like engraved I suppose?i believe it to be a wedding gift from the early 1950's

This is such a pretty vase and what a great size...it looks like ruby cut to clear, not engraved...and if you google that it may help you find others like it, which in turn with lots of patience ...:-/.. help you find the maker...welcome to CW...:-)
