My Uncle Fred was the photographer in the family. He would always be taking 8mm videos. Thanks to him, we transferred those films onto DVD and we can enjoy hours of old memories!! This was one of his cameras. I do not know much about it. It does have the original box but, to me, it looks as if something is missing in the inside of the camera - beside's the film that is! Any thoughts??

The Kodak Junior Six-16 appears in Kodak catalogs from 1935 to 1937. This is the U.S. version as opposed to variations made for the U.K. and German markets. It shoots 8 pictures in the 2½ x 4¼ inch format on No. 616 Kodak film. All models were covered with black morocco-grain material. This camera sold for $12.00 with a basic Kodak Doublet Lens. (There was a higher grade lens option but this isn’t that camera.) And the inside of the camera looks okay ... cameras are simply ‘dark-chambers’ to allow an image to be projected on some type of material (i.e. film).

To check to see if the bellows aren't damaged, find a darkened room and shine a torch up the bellows, if light escapes from the bellows then your camera needs attention.
