I just finished restoring this RCA console radio.. it had two tubes that were the wrong and after I replaced all the capacitors it works fine.. The cabinet had to be stripped and totally redone.. I really like the matched wood on the sides. I can never be too thin, too good looking or have too many radios. more will be coming later

How were you able to refinish without destroying the labelling under the knobs?
pixelpipe,, You can order decals for radios from'' Radio Daze''.
Google radio daze, they have all kinds of decals and they can make up ones
for most any radio even special orders.. I just strip the cabinet and put new ones on. After they are on you have to give it a few coats of lacquer over the decals so they won't come off when people turn the dials
