Blenko 561 by Wayne Husted. Made 1956-1959.
A whopping 56 cm tall !!!
Peace, love and the rainbow is a good place to expand.

Good Morning Eye4, hey buddy this is just totally awesome, my conversion to metric measurement sucks...how tall is this in inches/feet....I guessing aboy 2 1/2 feet tall, color contrast is interesting combo..

I simply googled the conversion from inches to metric ... I didn't do the math either ... Lol ... Check out http://www.blenko.com ...you might be familiar with them already ... Collecting Blenko can be as fun and price ranges are a few bucks to upwards of a grand for rare pieces ...

Kerry ... These big decanters/bottles are desirable ... Not rare, but of all the junk that comes home with me ... My wife snagged this one for her decor ...
LOL, wouldn't refer to it as "Junk" but neat...I bring home junk and attempt to return it into a useable/ functional piece, but I do have a few Fred Sanford traits of collecting :-)
Ok ... Yeah, I do not bring home junk ... Mostly anything that is cool and affordable ... I am terrible at reselling , So before I can give stuff to people that collect or do resell ... Well, she calls it clutter ... and I agree ... I can only have so much around before it becomes to much ... Where I get hung up is on focusing to collect one area ... Like "Blenko only" and then having a proper display ...

Blenko here is killer expensive eye, a pity because I love the fun of these decanters.
Now about collecting.....I still have the collections I started before I got into glass, and Japanese glass specifically. My partner is tolerant but the spare bedroom which was turned into a storeroom a few years ago is not overflowing.
Do I have a problem? Yep - love collecting, hopeless at selling.
