Blanc de Chine, kind of Dehua mark, but certainly modern...
Any idea of the value of this would be?
No...................
this is extremely strange
i got some assumptions here
it reads He Chaozong which is ming dynasty 1368–1644 and it reads dahua
well thats is impossible
so the next question is this a revival piece
define revival piece = the Dahua potter Su Xiejin started a so called He Chaozong revival period which ended in the early 20th. Ct..
the point is the whole tonality is off color , but also the cisele of the mark is off
actually it looks like a copy of a copy
It looks like a copy but a well done one where the mouldings look good. I had one similar (same size) (not chinese) but it was about 10 years ago I got it and then I assumed it was new.
ok next time you do the analisys and the chinese and the revival assesment
