I don't even know if this was supposed to be for mints. But it's what Me Ma had inside because she was constantly having to re-fill it when ever I or my sister were around. It's one of those special pieces you never forget from when you're a child and one that I am happy to still have in the same condition as before when it sat in my me ma's living room in the 1950's & 60's.
