This is another unknown tool from my Great Grandfather who was a finish carpenter. I have half dozen of these in with boxes of old wooden planes. Many are handmade and look to be for making interior mouldings for running trim. What are they ?

The picture doesn't enlarge so I need to ask a question. Excuse the expression but does this have a pointed tit or possibly a half round cutting edge that protrudes just a little? Perhaps 1/8th".

      Hi .

There is a half round at what appears to be the bottom / opposite side from the screw knob. You can see it somewhat in the pic. The half round area is sharpened on a bevel edge on the top or towards the wooden handle it is attached to. Any ideas?
