I just got this chair after waiting weeks for it to arrive, I bought it on the basis of a very bad picture and have to say I'm very happy I took the chance! It needs a bit of work, but I can see the potential! The owner said it was reupholstered but can't remember what was on it before. I'd love to bring it back to its former glory. Any ideas as to its origin/designer? There don't seem to be any makers marks! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

This is a Dutch chair by Louis Van Teeffelen for WeBe. It is a beauty. I am currently restoring a similar chair. Look up his other pieces, they are amazing. I'm a collector of his work, he is well known in Europe and because there is quite a bit of his work around, it can be had for good prices. Congrats and enjoy.
