Hello Collectors , been a while since my last post sitting her are chemo I thought someone might like to se this car. It is a 1951 Plymouth station wagon that is so radically altered and customized that only about 10% of the original car is left. It has a tube frame with tortion bar suspention, 392 blown/injected hemi all aluminum/painted interior to match paint on the outside. hope you enjoy and will post more of bottom and insides. this car was built for a customer for the Detroit Autorama to compeate for the Ridler Award, out of a field of 37 cars they pick 8 to compete. we were selected as one of the 8 witch they call the Great 8 did not win but made a good showing. the car did well at other shows , at the Grand National Roadster Show was best custom is show, Sacrometo Autorama won Sam Barris Memorial Award for metal work fit and finish. plus many others In Boise Idaho, Spokane Wash. Tulsa Oak. in 2003 and 2004. I have over 7000 hour in this car not counting the paint that was done by Art Himsl and upholstery by howdy. the owner and I became very good friends and he has pasted away 5 years ago on my birthday, I miss him and he loved for people to enjoy his cars so hope you enjoy
