    Hello,
I hope you're all having a good Summer.
I found this today, was fascinated by it.
My guess is that it's some type of lock, but a type I'm not familiar with.
Hopefully it'll ring a bell with someone, I'd love to know anything more about it.
I thought it would be an interesting little piece of hardware to share.

    Happy week-end to all,
    Tony.

Pretty cool Tony :)...I think it's an unusual type of combination lock. The dots look like they represent numbers or sequences. The four leaf clover on the knob might be a clue too.

Does the back dial move or is it fixed
It looks like the center stem should move in & out to follow the slots in the backside assembly.

Thanks for the looks and loves, mike, Kevin and David, much appreciated!!
Thanks also for the kind comments.
David, both dials move, and the post does move up and down thought the channels cut through the bottom outer cylinder.

I think this may be a one of a kind ,( home made:), adaptation of something that already existed, with some variation. If I figure it out I'll update this post.
      Thanks all,
      Tony
