    Hi
    Everyone.
I found this Western Germany vase many month ago, it's time to share with you this beauty, one of many WGP pottery i have collected for the last 8 month or so, this one is not so colourful, but so special in some point, kinda ASIAN style with is Bamboo stem and Leafs, octagonal shape, very pure white, and i discover this one was probably made in Australia or Austria, picture 4 show the " Carstens Tönnieshof " Mark, i believe have another vase barring this mark, i have to look again.
Below a brief description of the mark.

This enormous member of the family stand 16.25 inch tall, 8 inch wide, on a 5 inch base with 6 inch at the top.

    Thanks for Viewing.
    Alan

    ---------------------------------Mark Description-----------------------------------

    Carstens Tönnieshof (1945-1984)
This was simply one of many pottery factories owned by members of the Carstens factory, but it's the primary one for art pottery during this era.

When marked, Carstens has the "twin house" mark with a T over C in the middle. They used red clay, but some items were made in Austria and Australia and have white clay.

Carstens items are of generally high quality. Their best rank with the very best with the majority of their work well into the above average range with few weak designs.

Sort of an Asian decor, Alan, with the bamboo, I think, very pretty. I love white. :)
