Wishing you a great Veterans Day 2015 & Thank You for your service.
This is a California Department Of Veterans Affairs Challenge Coin given to me by Major General Roger Brautigan (Ret.).
General Brautigan, a 33-year Army veteran who has earned the Defense Distinguished Service Medal, the Legion of Merit, and the Bronze Star.
Following his military service, Roger Brautigan joined the California Department of Veterans Affairs and was appointed its Secretary in 2009. Under his leadership, the Department implemented California’s Operation Welcome Home, a groundbreaking program that matches the veterans with the services and assistance they’ve earned and need.

You guys are going to make me break out my "Challenge" coin now....okay where did I stash those.....Hmmmm, bet they're with all my patches, emblems, ribbons and medals, yup sure of it...nom where did I put those....:-)
