found this in an old book , here in el paso texas . The back reads that theses were germans running from russians who bombed them out of their homes.

yes, it was in a very old cook book ( which I sold for $500) along with some newspaper clippings and handwritten recipies , I bought it at a yard sale in an area where many fort bliss military families eventually retire, my guess is that this came from a military family who perhaps may have either been there or at one family member was and they were transferred here the Fort Bliss army base. I found this nearly 10 years ago.
