I saw a film recently called All is Lost with Robert Redford and he had to master one of these in a day. They seem very complicated to me.

Appears authentic enough. Take a steadying drink & try to add a pix without blurring the maker's name. When I was living on St. Eustatius, I was learning to do readings with one. My shots showed that the island was moving approx. 4 nautical miles E & W each day. I convinced the natives that this explained a beach that seemed to come & go. That the beach stayed but it was the island that came & went. True story & they did believed it! LOL!!
