Just bought this at a garage sale and trying to figure out the year, make and model. Looks like something may be missing on the top fender? I paid $75 and not sure if a good deal or not. Thanks for any information

Hi Bbell1005 - Looks 1940s (ish) and I have sold bikes like this for £400 POUNDS before so to me a very good deal, well done! In the UK we would'nt even touch its patina apart from make it rideable. Restored about 800 POUNDS maybe........great item...
