This is sooooo pretty....bought for $2.00 at a flea market this morning. Electro Plated Nickel Silver. Diameter is 6 1/2 cm. I can't quite make out the mark on the far left. Possibly a leopard's head? The numbers look like: "M 5163".

Help! Thanks............
If it is a Leopards head it could be the hallmark for London
I don't know the mark to the left, but the other four say EPNS, so not a London sterling silver mark.
M
If that is the case EPSN means Electro-Plated nickel silver.
I know this is silver plate and am familiar with the EPNS mark. I don't know if London uses the leopard head on silver plated items such as this one. I thought it might be a castle or a crown, but it's hard to tell. I imagine the numbers are some sort of record keeping system for the item.
To me there a figure, could be a animal then JP then ES above M 51 could be a 83
The London Mark is a Lions head
Hi the above link is the wrong link could you delete please

Well I really hope this helps, good luck
I'm really having no luck the page as come up with the page has been removed, whoops, sorry.
LOL Peasejean55, it's hard to read the numbers. I must have looked at them 6 ways to Sunday plus upside down - then it became clear, haha! That stamp on the left almost looks like a shield. Three points at the top and coming to a point underneath. Figuring out what is in the middle is the tough part.
Peasejean55 - the "l" is missing at the end - html.... I fixed it.

Yes its come up with the link. Good luck.
Lol you've already done it.
Where's "Flog It" when I need it?? haha!
Looks like a crown to me ... Sheffield???
vetrai50 -I also thought it could be a crown but the more I stare at it the more it seems to have eyes, haha!. This too small for the Sheffield stamp, so you could be right.
The numbers maybe from an insurance agent, they sometimes scribe inventory ID numbers on the silver when a comprehensive policy is purchased.

I love the 3 leaf clover shape Efes!
TubeAmp, that's another interesting possibility. Thanks for the comment, Rick55!
