There seems to be lots of this Hineri style here in Australia and quite a few live in my house. I particularly like this one. Made from a beautiful mauve-grey glass with what appears to be white streaked through it.
Typically for Hineri, cased in clear and moulded into a square (sometimes triangular) base. The base is fully polished, the rim flame finished.
It's quite a subtle big beauty that fits well into Japanese aesthetics.

Gorgeous vase.....a lovely tangle of curves. Ace photos too, with a background so in tune with the vase!
