How do you know it is Russian ? Is he a squeeze toy ?
I had the name of it at one time, seeing it on ebay. And it was stated about another doll exactly like it that it was russian. However, they could be wrong, now that you mention it. There are no markings on the bottom. It does have a hole in the bottom.
