    This is an old family trunk handed down to me on my fathers side. It was his great great grandmothers trunk on his dad's side that she carried with her on stagecoach. Don't know anything about the type of trunk it is and was hoping someone here might me able to help me out. Thanks alot

      Generally speaking this is a mid-quality late 1890's to early 1900's cross slat trunk. The parts, style and form where common and many makers made this type of trunk. With no label it will be hard to know which company made it. They bought common parts for theses trunks that appeared in period magazines for orders. A lovely family heirloom....

      There should be comparable trunks for sale in your local adds -- value is not really high... other than family history...
